Shannon discovered Wix through an article about easy-to-use templates and decided to use it for her event procuction company’s high-end weddings and parties. She’s been so happy with Wix that she also created Wix websites for companies she works with and her clients, so they could share their events with the world.

My name is Shannon Leahy and my company is called Shannon Leahy Events. Anyone who wants to hire me, they absolutely go to my website first. It has my entire portfolio on it. I try to keep it about 10 to 12, sometimes I go to 15 weddings a year. We are really boutique and we like to offer a lot of highly personalized attention to our clients.

I found Wix in an article about easy-to-use templates and I was just sold immediately. They used to only offer flash websites, which are great, but now they offer HTML, which I love because a lot of my clients like to look at my website on their iPhones and iPads, and now they can.

I've been focusing on high-end weddings and parties, and creating experiences for my clients. Every detail is thought through, from the napkin to the napkin accent to the menu card and the charger and the plate that goes on top of it. I mean, we put a lot of thought into the events. I've been using their templates and they're just so easy to use. You can switch photos in and out. You can control the transitions, control how you're scrolling, how many photos are on a page, what the galleries look like, some greatest work up there.

And I've actually created websites both for floral designers that I work with and for my clients now too, which is really neat. I use Wix. It's a service that I now offer my brides. When they want to have a wedding website for all of their guests, I can now create them one on Wix. Now, every time I have a new wedding, I just want to share it with the world. It's like they're like my babies. So I can always switch in and out and put the newest and greatest work up there.
