As a genre Vlogging has more value than most people realize. Vlogging is how we document our lives and share our thoughts and experiences with the world. The Casey Neistat Vlog was started to help promote his company BEME at the time and evolved into something more. Daily Vee with Gary Vaynerchuk started because Gary wanted to show everyone what his life as an actual CEO was like.
Vlogging on YouTube isn't a fad, its a reflection of the fact that we want authenticity and to share in the lives of other people. It's not different from why sitcoms and soap operas run longer than any other thing on Television.
Gary Vaynerchuk as a Daily Vlogger does things very differently than other people and is sharing a different lifestyle than what most people have, but it inspires people to work harder than they ever worked.
Casey Neistat as a Daily Vlogger inspires people to live for today and be more adventurous and daring.
I want my vlogging here on YouTube to inspire you to be more creative, thoughtful and to also maybe be a bit more vulnerable and less scared and anxious because that is what I wish for a younger version of myself...
