You can create Facebook retargeting audiences, which are also known as custom audiences, for your website visitors, customer files, app activity, offline activity, Facebook page engagement, Instagram page engagement, video engagement, and more.

We start by showing you how to install the Facebook Pixel on your website. You can view our Facebook Pixel video above for some additional information as well. You can either add the Facebook Pixel directly to your website, or you can use one of the Partner Integrations. I would highly recommend using the Partner Integrations because it will help as you set-up Events and Custom Conversions for your website. There are so many audiences you can target including people who have engaged with your page and more.

Next, once you have your Facebook Pixel added to your website, you are ready to start building Custom Audiences and Facebook Website Retargeting Audiences to reach people who have visited your website. You can target All Visitors, highly engaged users, and people who have visited specific pages on your website. We show how to target people who have visited certain pages on your website and how to create audiences for people who have engaged with your Facebook page. In addition, you can exclude people who have visited specific pages, which will allow you to exclude people who have converted already. That is a best practice for Facebook Advertising campaigns.

I prefer to create Saved Audiences for my campaigns because it makes it much easier to target them as you set-up your Facebook Remarketing Ads campaigns for each Ad Set.

Once we have our Facebook Retargeting audiences created, we can go to Facebook Ads Manager to create Remarketing campaigns. We set-up a campaign that is set to drive conversions. You can set-up different campaigns, but ours makes it easy to drive more and more sales or leads for your business. We go through the process of targeting Facebook Ads and creating Dynamic Facebook Ads, which make the entire set-up process very easy.
