Dealing with Negative YouTube Comments is the main reason that many people turn off their comments or quit YouTube all together.

Even Big YouTubers sometimes get to a point where they turn off their comment section. YouTube comment engagement can be very important for growing a loyal following and understanding your viewers.

It can also be good to get constructive criticism and feedback. However there are situations where you get YouTube comment Trolls, and people who are just toxic to your YouTube community. In these cases I recommend filtering spam and banning Trolls.

I don't care if people feel it is censorship, it's not and it does not violate their free speech, that has to do with the government and the press and a ton of other crap. YouTube is not a democracy. You have a responsibility to protect yourself and people who play by the rules.

I love engaging with you all in the comments, but not everyone respects the forum and you have to deal with that. If is too emotionally damaging you have need to do what you feel is best for you and will help you continue to create awesome things.
