Learn how to plan your day the right way with these 3 tips so you can get everything done with time to spare, even if you feel like you have a jam-packed schedule. One of my bedrock routines that give me a sense of peace and control is a daily planning and processing routine. Thus, with an eye toward making the most of your day and maximizing its potential, I present the following three steps on how to plan your day:

1. Inventory – Write down all of your ideas and tasks at the start of the day
2. Value Ladder – Assign a $ value to each one of your tasks
3. Time Block – Schedule out your day with intention

Entrepreneurs are still struggling with this idea, but I want to press on and get into the how, how to plan your day. Understanding the power of these three steps is the key to unlocking how to plan your day to be productive.

This Time Management video will give you some quick tips on how to plan your day effectively while increasing your efficiency and productivity. This may mean learning how to be assertive, but it is one of the best ways to do if you want to know how to plan your day effectively.

Once you get this system down, you may have to be assertive with your coworkers and family to respect your work so you can get more done in less time.Distractions from family and friends can easily derail your days productivity curve. Knowing how to plan your day makes a massive difference to what you achieve and how you feel about it.

Sticking to your plan can be a whole different story. If you struggle with getting through the day with your coworkers or family, here are some tips to structure your day and make things easier.

First, share your calendar. You can let them see when you are working and when you aren’t so they know you are serious about your daily productivity. Second, and more importantly, you hold to your schedule. Even if you wind up changing your time blocks throughout the day, it’s vital that you don’t pick up the phone during your work time.
