DJI Mavic Air Unboxing and First Impressions. I bought the DJI Mavic Air and I currently own a DJI Mavic Pro, in the future I will do a Mavic Pro vs Mavic Air video for you and a Mavic Air Full Review, but these were my first impressions the first day I bought the DJI Mavic Air and why I think this is a decent drone.

The DJI MAVIC AIR:
When I decided to buy the DJI Mavic Air about 2 months ago, it was party to replace my DJI Mavic Pro while I get the gimbal fixed. One of the first things I noticed was an improved design, better gimbal stability, and better obstacle avoidance sensors.

The unboard memory and built-in landing gear were also something that was improved from the Mavic Pro design as well as a more practical controller. The downside is that this is not a Radio Controlled Version and it relies on a Wifi signal from the phone entirely, which also limits the range.

Overall this is a better solution than the DJI Spark and the form factor is better, making it the ideal travel drone.

Until the DJI Mavic Pro 2 comes out I feel the DJI Mavic Air is the best travel drone they offer.
