Child themes allow you to make changes and customize your WordPress theme without editing the main theme. This allows you to get theme updates without losing your changes. In this video, we will show you how to use your child theme on another WordPress site.

Summary of this Tutorial:

First, make sure you have a complete backup of both of your sites.

Then you can connect to your site using an FTP client and browse to the wp-content/themes directory.

Now download your parent and child theme from that directory.

Next, you need to connect to your new site via ftp and browse to the /wp-content/themes directory and upload both folders to that site.

Now you can login to the admin area of the new site, go to Appearance, Themes and you'll see the child theme and the parent theme.
