If you want to run a successful Facebook Campaign, this is NOT optional! Here’s a quick tutorial how you can deploy Facebook's universal tracking pixel across you site and easily.

The Facebook pixel is a tinny snippet of code that you can place on your site to allow Facebook to monitor your website activity. Why give Facebook even more of your information? Simple; they will allow you to use that data to track your conversions, sales, and build new audiences to target. Here’s a quick break down of each one of these benefits.
 
First, the pixel allows you to easily track a “conversion” on your site and then shows you exactly what ad is responsible for the conversion. This means when your testing your ads you can easily see the ads that are actually capturing people who are taking action. This is much better than simply know what ad gests the cheapest clicks.
 
Second, it allows you to track steps of your funnel and sales. If you want to get advanced you target people based upon specific pages they have or haven’t visited on your site.

When some makes a purchase, you can tell Facebook how much that is worth and have it optimize your campaign to get customers at a profitable cost. If you have blog, you can retarget visitors based upon the specific topics they’ve shown interest in ono your blog.
 
Finally, it allows you to build up new lists of customers. Using the pixel data, you can ask Facebook to find people similar to those who have already engaged and purchased from you. This means as your audience grows, so does your ability to target new people who are very similar to your current customers.
