Teachable sellers. I have some bad news and I have some good news. The bad news is you're probably leaving a lot of potential money on the table with your marketing and selling with teachable but the good news is in this video. I'm gonna show you the seven things you're probably not doing as well as you could also give you a very simple solution to unlock the sales potential inside of Teachable.

Okay, let's dive into it.

Hey guys John here from IncomeMesh.com my goal is to help you find the perfect tool for your next project and why am I talking about this topic Well teachable is a platform that is near and dear to my heart It has basically given me my freedom back from corporate America my wife and I have been using teachable for about five years and we've sold over a million dollars on the platform and in this video.

I'm gonna share with you seven of kind of the limitations that we know after really using the platform in all of its capacity seven limitations that are holding you back from making more money with it and I'll share with you at the end of the video the quick and easy solution.

Alright, let's go and dive into number one, which is On the teachable checkout page you simply cannot add a bump offer and bump offers our fantastic let's say for example, you're selling an introductory course a perfect thing to put on the checkout page as they're in the process of buying it is hey, do you want to include an eBook companion guide or some additional worksheets or additional resources for an additional five dollars?

You can double the average order value of your shopping cart simply by adding a bump offer and sadly, it is not included in teachables functionality. Wow. Number two is the upsell page option of cells are post-sale offers if they buy your course what happens next to this. Yeah, thank you page or do they get more offers.

Now teachable does have upsell pages, but they're quite limited in how you can design them and the data and analytics of being able to optimize those upsells to make sure you're making as much money as possible with your sales funnel simply isn't quite there. Now number three, right along the same idea here is they don't even support down sells now what's the down sell you might ask?

Well after the purchase is made you can offer an upsell. After that initial purchase saying hey would you like to add on this premium package at a one-time discount if they say no to that the way that teachable works is boom the sales funnel is done, they reach their thank you page and they begin the course that they purchase.

However, most people if they purchase item. A maybe item B simply was out of their price range or wasn't quite what they were looking for or maybe it was just too much at that point for them to take that leap of faith. If however instead of letting them go directly to that, thank you page after they say no to the upsell offer.

If you Offer them a down sell which maybe is half the price of what the upsell offer was you made to them your conversion rates can go through the roof because they're already interested. They just made a purchase they have that dopamine rush they're all feeling good and they also want to take it to the next step the downsell can give you one option to save the sale and make additional revenue on that initial purchase without letting them go from your sales funnel yet.

Number four, and this one is a big one to us the affiliate program. Now, what is an affiliate program? It allows you to basically create an army of commission salesmen who their goal is to go out and promote your products send traffic to your funnel and whatever is sold through their specific referral, they get a commission.
