This week's question is:

"Do you think that there's a big difference between making the content native on Facebook or keeping on other platforms?" Essentially, if you create a video, either video or blogs, should you keep it on that platform or should you share it across others?

If you have a video or any form of content, why wouldn't you want to get the most amount of views? Whether you start with Facebook, or you start with YouTube, or you start with Instagram, you're going to create video content. Might as well publish it on all the channels out there to get the most traffic.

We've found when we add a video to LinkedIn; we get more views than any other channel.

The point I'm trying to make is, if you're going to create content, might as well get more views from it. Put it on YouTube. Put it on Facebook. Put it on Instagram. Put it on LinkedIn. Even if you don't think Linked in has your audience, what harm is there for you to add your video on LinkedIn? You either get some views, or you won't. Some of those views will either convert, or they won't. But it doesn't hurt you.

If you're not doing a live stream, make sure if you are, like taking a piece of content, make sure you optimize them for each platform. Like LinkedIn, you can't do longer than ten-minute videos, as of right now. Instagram TV you can do longer than regular Instagram, which is only 60 seconds, so, make sure you talk to your editor. Map out each one, and have your editor create all of the content as it's designed for each platform.
