How to Become a Public Speaker: How to Get Your First Speaking Engagement! Becoming a Public Speaker can help grow your Personal Brand and establish you as an expert or industry leader.
To Become a Public Speaker, there are few things you need to do, starting with understanding what you're going to be speaking about. You should speak on topics you know cold, that you could talk about at length without notes or slides.
If you have no experience, you should start your public speaking career by speaking for free at local events, and schools or even hosting small events of your own. Live Streaming and doing Q&A is a great way to build up the confidence to become a public speaker and speak at length on topics you know and care about.

One thing I will say if you want to become a Public Speaker is that you'll need a Speaker Reel. Here is a link to mine:

You'll also want to have full videos of you as a Public Speaker on Stage so people can see what the experience is really like. When getting started film yourself at a Toastmasters group speaking, then at free and small events, then on stages as you progress.
