Cars have always been Matt Bell’s thing-- he grew up playing with matchbox cars and watched every hot rod show he could, from Dukes of Hazzard to Night Rider. Though his toys are a little bigger these days, he’s still doing what he loves. Matt was working on a car in his garage one day when an idea struck him. An idea for a community workshop decked out with lifts and tools. A place where gearheads could hang out and work on their cars, share their knowledge and learn from each other. With that, his idea for The Shop Clubs was born. Today, The Shop is a spot where car and motorcycle enthusiasts can keep and work on their rides. It’s also home to a driving simulator, conference room, cigar lounge, bar and restaurant. A far cry from high-end, exclusive workshops, The Shop prides itself on welcoming everybody and every car, from Volkswagens to Bentleys. Down the road, Matt hopes to continue to grow his community and expand to more cities.
