Alexandra runs urban hiking tours in San Francisco. She’s happy she switched to Wix not only because it was easy to use, but because it helped her to dramatically improve her business website’s SEO to bring in more search traffic in just a couple of months.

When I decided to start this company, all I had was a website and a set of business cards. My name is Alexandra Kenin and I run Urban Hiking Tours in the city of San Francisco. Oh, I have so many places that I hike all around San Francisco. There are 230 parks. This is one of my favorite parks. It's called Tank Hill. Some of the views like this, you just come to a hilltop and out of nowhere you'll see a beautiful view. I love seeing how it takes people's breath away.

The technology has changed so much since I was a web designer, so I'm so happy that I found something like Wix, because it's really kind of like a drag-and-drop template and that anyone can do it, even if you're not a professional web designer. I switched to Wix after about a month or two because I wasn't seeing the search traffic that I wanted from my initial website. I was getting about 2 to 4% of my web traffic from search and I know that's not enough to get new clients.

What I really liked was the SEO optimization. Within 1 to 2 months, I was up from that 2% to 4%, all the way up to 25% to 28%. I would say that anyone could set up good SEO with Wix. All you have to do is come up with some keywords that represent your business, enter them into the little box, click "publish" and you're all set to go. So that was super easy and had amazing results.

Because Wix had such great templates, I was able to create a new website in 1 to 2 hours. I actually also have a mobile site, so I have a number of different aspects that I have from Wix that I didn't have with my previous website provider.
