AWS is undoubtedly the safest way to host your website. HUGE corporations are using it for their projects as it's the most reliable service available. The problem is, you need a team of engineers to set it all up. Well at least if you want to do it the old fashioned way.

So in this Managed AWS tutorial, I'll show you how to create a WordPress website on AWS using ScalaHosting. I'll also show you the steps you need to take to make your website faster and more secure.

STEP 1

STEP 2

ScalaHosting will then get your AWS server ready completely automatically. You'll get an email once that's done. Once you get the email just click the link provided and it will take you to your managed amazon web services server where you'll be able to host as many projects or websites as you like.

STEP 3

Create login information that you'll use to access your AWS server. Once that's done go through the setup steps and create your first website environment, you can use a website name you bought from any website provider. I'll show you how to update your DNS so that it works together with AWS hosting.

STEP 4

Using sPanel provided by ScalaHosting for free you can now control your managed AWS server in the easiest way possible. That means you can automatically install WordPress, add SSL certificates, change PHP versions, create email accounts.
