Why Did I Choose This Data Backup Solution?
I do a lot of different things, like design, photography and video editing, both for myself and my clients. I need a solid backup solution for all of it and I need the ability to access my files since I do a lot of traveling and up till now that has been very difficult.
I also didn't want to worry about a single hard drive failing, so I wanted a data backup solutions that at least had RAID 01 so if one hard drive goes bad the other hard drive still has a backup and once I replace it I can duplicate the files to the new second hard drive.
I reached out to Western Digital and we found a solution that fit my needs and I told them I wanted to share it with my viewers, since a ton of you have asked me about how to backup your files, and what I recommend. Western Digital is one of the brands I recommend in terms of hardware and I've used them for years among others. They are in my Top 3 (with no preference) when it comes to hard drives.
