Lisa and Bridget are dedicated to the mission of developing well-being for children through yoga practice. Bridget wanted a website that would be welcoming and easy to use, so she chose Wix and had the business site up in just a few hours.
Transcript:
Lisa: What we do is we bring children's yoga instruction to kids and we're all about developing the social, emotional, and physical well-being of kids so that they can grow into healthy adults. I'm Lisa.
Bridget: I'm Bridget.
Lisa: And I'm CEO and founder of Stretch Play Yoga.
Bridget: And I'm CEO and president of Stretch Play Yoga.
Lisa: Yoga is great for adults, but it does some amazing things for kids. We started doing yoga breathing with them, teaching them how to do some poses that were really helpful and fun for them to distract them or to make their bodies feel better. We found that it just worked.
Bridget: I was up one night just thinking about okay, yeah, I was all excited about working for this business and getting things started and I saw this article on this do-it-yourself website, and Wix was one of the options on there. And I went to their site and one thing that drew me in was that you could create a website in HTML5. You're always working off an iPad or people are always on phones, and we wanted a website that could accommodate technology and how people are using things. And I went through and started just dragging and dropping pictures and cut-and-pasting into one of their templates, and I pretty much created our website in a few hours in a night.
Lisa: I come back into the office and Bridget is like "Here's our website."
Bridget: [Laughter]
Lisa: And I was like . . . I'm blown away. It was a beautiful, it was great.
