Hey everybody. So in today's vlog for PNB I have some exciting news I got my second production run in just got the first pallet from the second production run right here let's see what you can really excited there's some changes this time it's gonna be a matte finish instead of a glossy finish I've been told it looks really good I'm a little nervous hopefully everything turned out all right I'm also last time some of the packages had oil on them and I want to make sure that that doesn't happen again.

Let's go ahead and let's open up this pallet and as almost always there tends to be issues.
This for this production run there's a few things and I'll show you exactly what's going on but we got the new matte laminate which is cool all right. So here are the new pouches with the new matte finish I gotta say I like it it looks a little bit more premium it looks like a little bit more it'll pop a little bit more though I think the glossy looks nice in its own way but this looks a little bit fancier a little bit more premium of a product but it's a lot harder to rip the there's no perforation in the pouches which is a huge deal because 7,000 of those pouches went up to the bulletproof box and I have no way of fixing those all right. So this production run number to taste test with the new packaging let's see how it works it's a little bit harder to open it's already an issue.

The new ones a little bit harder to open but you can get it ultimately smells good smells just as delicious as the last batch tastes good overall I'm very happy with it it's awesome takes a little bit more macadamia notes on this one than you I did in the last one hmm nice delicious. So what I'm doing for each little individual one of the pouches I'm actually hiring people to cut little notches out of them. So they're easier to open.
Every problem you know leads to new interesting thing. So we'll see what this leads to and maybe it leads to me finding a backup co-packer maybe it finds leads to me finding a better pouch a bit better design who knows we'll find out soon the other issue was the macadamia nuts this time weren't roasted as you might have noticed in previous vlogs I talked about how my co Packard would not accept the macadamia nuts because they were processed in a facility that also processed peanuts which I didn't realize that was a concern this also led to me testing out something we tried doing raw macadamia nuts that were slightly heat treated which would enhance the flavors I don't honestly think the flavors as good as it was the last run which I'm disappointed to say it's still delicious it's still amazing one other issue is I don't have enough jars I've got about 400 450 jars which is probably not enough to launch on Amazon but I might go ahead and do it anyways I got to get ready for my third production run. So that's gonna probably be a lot of next week's vlog is talking about the third production run and talking about everything we need to do to fix this production on getting all the packing together boxing everything up because I got to hire people to take the pouches and put it into boxes. So there's a lot that needs to still get done there's a lot of something to do got to get ready for the launch of the Shopify website now that I have more inventory but the hustle does not stop anytime too soon.
