And let's talk about gathering content for your website.

For many of you, myself included,

that sounds just about as exciting

as organizing your sock drawer.

But, if you put all of your content all in one place,

all in one folder,

it's gonna make building your website at two in the morning

a hell of a lot easier.

And this also gives you a really great opportunity

to add more content and other cool stuff

instead of just text and images.

Speaking of text, I mean mix it up.

Yeah, you don't want big paragraphs of stuff.

Try like links or...

Lists, quotes.

Yeah, or even testimonials are helpful

from past customers.

And pictures say a thousand words.

So use high quality images.

Tap into royalty free resources but always get permission.

Absolutely.

Another really great form of content is videos.

They're easy to make

and people love step by step videos

or tours of the facility.

And for best results,

upload that onto Vimeo or YouTube

so you can use the embed code from that

and just plug it into your website,

so we can just press play.

Yep, a logo is another great thing

to have in your content folder.

If you have one, great.

If not, we can make one for you.

Or find a graphic artist.

So you wanna be a thought leader.

Another good piece of content

to throw into that folder are blog posts.

Something you can share with other people

and build your brand credibility.

Yeah and if you update it a lot

it'll actually help your SEO.

Another really good piece of content

is downloadable files, like checklists.

Yeah I mean we all love free stuff.

Yeah, absolutely,

and if maybe your business needs the customers

to have some type of form filled out

before they get there,

why not let them download it

and print it before they get there.

You're gonna want to stick to pdf formats.

Those work the best.

And test your download yourself.

So think of your content folder

as those tiny adorable glass bowls on a cooking show.

Take some time to gather it all together

and keep it handy,

so you can have a faster and smoother

website building experience.
