One thing that marketers and website developers and entrepreneurs may want to do is purchase a website. Flippa.com is one of the best ways for a business owner or marketer to purchase a website, purchase a mobile app, purchase a domain name, or purchase a business altogether. There are Starter Sites, which can be useful if you want a website that is already set-up and created with some content and products for sale. There are Established Websites, which are generally driving some website traffic and earning some revenue each month. You generally get what you pay for on Flippa, but it is important to do some research before you purchase a new website. In addition, you should have a marketing strategy and a business strategy in place because you want to be able to grow your new website over the next year or two.
Some people may want to purchase a website from Flippa that they can grow and then re-sell, while others may be looking to grow the website and use it as a new source of income in the future. I view a website purchase as an investment because you ultimately create websites and online businesses to earn more revenue and a larger income. However, Flippa is not going to be a get rich quick scheme because really successful websites that earn a lot of revenue each month will also come with a large price tag.
I generally try to earn my investment back in the first year and hopefully earn more than my investment in the first 12 months. From there, I'd be able to keep growing my website in the future and it can earn me a source of passive income.
Flippa is a marketplace that connects website owners, app owners, and business owners to buyers that are looking to expand their current websites or purchase their first website. You can buy ecommerce websites, dropshipping websites, content websites, mobile apps, SaaS businesses, domain names, and more. Some websites will come with a large amount of revenue, traffic, an email list, a social media audience, and tons of content that is live and ranking on the website already.
For now, I have a brand new website (to me at least) that I can grow over the next several years and ultimately try to increase my yearly revenue.
