Always Be Testing & Questioning - Entrepreneur Success Mindset | Aspire 105
Today is all about the entrepreneur success mindset of asking “why” and “how” at the right times. If there is only one entrepreneur success mindset I could choose, it would be to ask “why” about everything!
In the best-selling book by Herbert Harris, 'The 12 Universal Laws of Success', explains 'Self-Image' as your own conception of yourself. Self-awareness is taking this “Self-Image” on step further so you can transform the image of yourself you want, into reality. Self-awareness starts with asking “Why” at every turn.
If you're anything like me, then you're probably tired of the usual tips on how to become successful or hearing about how entrepreneurs make money selling global brands on and off-line or how entrepreneurs make millions through intellectual property in the information marketing business. It’s hype so we can ignore it.
One of the quickest ways to figure out the gap between who you want to be as a entrepreneur and where you are now, is to take a look at your personality type and how it plays into your role as a entrepreneur. Before I dove into learning how to be and entrepreneur, I used my personality type results to determine the kind of entrepreneur I would be.
Knowing your strengths and weakness as you work to grow your business will help you ask “Why” or “How” at the right times, in the right situations. Take my AdWords analysis for example for the entrepreneur success mindset. Because I already know that I am an analytical person asking “how I can get 1 cent views on my YouTube videos with YouTube ads” is a question I should personally answer.
If you're not an analytical person, then yes, ask that question, but then go find someone who is better suited to find the answer for you. I've included a link to a “Focus on Your Strengths” video above that dives deeper into the importance of focusing on your strengths.
Your entrepreneur success mindset starts with framing your questions around what you are good at, and then becoming the best in the world at it. I'm going hard on YouTube ads because it fits my personality type. I don't go all in on graphic design or video editing because I'm terrible at it and it’s not a part of my entrepreneurial personality type.
