There are times when a website will require users to be redirected to a new location using a 301 redirect to send them to the correct place. This may be to point them toward a newer version of the product, showing a newer article, or pointing them to a retraction page. In this video, we will show you how to quickly redirect posts and pages in WordPress.

Summary of this Tutorial:

Start by installing and activating the Quick Page Post Redirect plugin.

The settings will be under the newly added Redirects section.

With the plugin active, start by editing the post or page you wish to redirect.

There will be a meta box called "Quick Page/Post Redirect" where you can check the 'Make Redirect Active" box.

Give the URL to direct the link to and choose the type of redirect.

A 301 redirect if this is a permanent move or a 302 for temporary redirects.

The plugin can also redirect multiple URLs by going under Redirects, Quick Redirects to redirect multiple at once.

To do a site wide redirect, under Redirects, Redirect Options to export and import your redirects.

Should you need to there is an option here to delete all redirects made by the plugin.
