Amazon S3 is a great place to have your CDN. By storing your videos there you'll be saving a lot of server bandwidth

Amazon S3 is very affordable because you only pay for the bandwidth that you actually use. Here is breakdown of their pricing:

The only trouble with the Amazon S3 console is that it's not very user friendly, so it can be difficult to find the embed code you need to add the videos to your site.

There are a handful of plugins that make this easier, but if you don't want to add more plugins to your site, you can do it manually as well.

The trick is, in the S3 admin console, select only the file you want to embed into your WordPress site. Then click on the Properties tab to open to find the URL to the file itself.

Copy that URL and paste it into your WordPress site. If it's an audio file WordPress will detect that put the file into an audio player automatically.

If it's a video file, WordPress will detect that as well and put the video into a video player automatically.

One last thing, for this to work, you have to set the permissions.

Below the file name in the Properties tab there is a Permissions area.

In that area, make sure that you create a permissions for Everyone and at set it to allow Open/Download. That will make sure the file is usable outside of the Amazon S3 console.
