The great thing about the PeepSo plugin is that it comes with so many additional features and you can decide which features you will use on your website so you don't have to install plugins that you don't use and make the website a bit slower. You pick the PeepSo addons you want and in this PeepSo tutorial, I show you how to configure it!

So in this PeepSo tutorial, I show you how to install Peepso and the Gecko theme. Those work perfectly together and are made by the same people. Then we cover the basics of posting something on your feed. We will extend that with the possibility of posting images, uploading videos, posting Youtube videos, and deciding who should see the post.

We will talk about the community. Add friends or follow people. Like profiles. Chat with other members. Creating and joining groups that dive deeper into certain subjects. I will show you how to adjust the registration form so people have to fill in more information in order to become a member.

And then we will talk about sidebar widgets, just like Facebook has. With a profile widget, friends widget, uploaded photos and videos. Latest members.

And of course we talk about ads. Affiliate links. Google Adsense. Other banners. We even can place advertisements in between the posts on the feed.

We will use gamification in order to motivate people to become more active on the website. They can earn points for being active and with those points they can earn badges and buy things on the website. So you can sell them anything for those points. There is also a leaderboard and people can also earn badges by fulfilling certain tasks, like visiting the social media website 10 days in a row. The sky is the limit!

You can also sell products for real money. We will also create a course and sell that. And all those things can be integrated with PeepSo. You can turn your PeepSo social media website into a multivendor marketplace using Dokan so members can sell things and you get a commission per sale or integrate your website with easy digital downloads.
