In this video, we’ll show you how to create password protected pages on your website.

A password protected page means that only visitors with the password can see that page. For example, if you’re a wedding photographer, you may have pictures that you only want to share with the bride and groom.

How to create password protected pages

To add password protection, click your pages menu, located in the top left corner. Select the page you want, and click the circle icon on the right. Then click Permissions.

Choose password protection and enter the password you want visitors to use. Then click done. If you ever want to change the password for this page, you can do it from here.

Hit Publish to make it live. Click view site to quickly try your password protected page. And remember to share the password with your visitors.

Your password page is already designed for your site according to your site’s look and feel.

Keep in mind that password protected pages are not visible to Google, so they won’t show up in search engine results.

Now you’re ready. This video is always here, so come back and watch again for more help. If you want to create a whole members-only section, watch our Site Members video.
