In this video we are going to talk about the power editor so the first thing to do is to actually get there. You can get there by clicking up here and going to Power Editor. Power Editor has a lot of very powerful tools that the regular Ads Manager does not. In fact, a lot of the time when they roll out a new features, they will have it come out first in power editor and then later in ad manager - maybe never in just Ads Manager. In fact, lead ads, which if you watch a lot of my videos, you know that is one of my favorite, favorite types of Facebook ads. They originally came out in Power Editor and then later came out in Ads Manager. They never come out originally in Ads Manager. So, now we are here in Power Editor. There are a few things to know. One is if you make a change here you have to review the change and then you can add it. So, I have this campaign Test Website Clicks. Let’s go ahead and say – let’ say I wanted to edit this (Test Ad Edit women 45 - 60). Then say I wanted to make it 30 and adjust the budget. You would see it says Review Changes – It is having some issues there but basically the moral, the story is you see it says Review Changes, so you have to Review Changes and Continue before it will actually get set up in Ads Manager.
Let’s take a little book around Power Ad Editor now. The first thing to look at is these are all loops. This is the Campaign Level. This is the Ad Set Level and this is the Ads Level. If you were to click on this, I was to click on the “Test Website Clicks,” it will narrow it down. It will only show that information. I can go down to the ads. I can go here to the Ad Set within the Ad Set is the same one you saw a second ago. You can click this little edit button and add the name. You can go over here to the side and actually edit the real information. This is very similar to what we do in Ads Manager.
Now, sometimes it is kind of annoying, in my opinion, because sometimes when I go to the Campaign Level, there is only one campaign. All you have to do is exit out of there. You can also add here (Campaign Delivery). These are basically filters so campaign, let’s see, say active – Let’s say I just wanted to show my active ones, but only show active ones there. Let’s say I wanted to- there are also all of these filters here and I did a video before on all of these different types of filters. It works the same way in Power Editor.
Another thing that is interesting is duplicating. This is one of my favorite things, so one of the best things in my opinion about Power Editor. Let’s say I want to duplicate this (Duplicate Campaign). Number of duplicates one - test website clicks so you see there is a copy and I could change that to whatever. I won’t but if I did then I would have to go review changes and continue before it would actually apply.
So, there are a few things that are kind of interesting. Nothing too crazy. I will save for later my favorite part about Power Editor but let’s do a few other things before we get there.
