Forward Your Custom Email Address via cPanel | WP Learning Lab

The process I describe in this video works for email forwarding GoDaddy, email forwarding Gmail and yahoo email forwarding.

It is a pretty simple process too. Once you have created your custom email address in cPanel (I show you how in another video on my channel) you can do the email address forwarding.

Inside cPanel find the Email section and click on the Forwarders link or image. On the next page you will see a list of your forwarded email addresses, if you have some already. Below them you will see an Add Forwarder button. Click on it.

On the next page you will see a form to fill out. In the first field type in the prefix of the email address you want to forward (the prefix is everything that comes before the @ symbol). From the dropdown to the right of that field choose the domain name of the email address.

In the next field (below) type in the email address that you want any messages forwarded to. This can be your Gmail account, GoDaddy account, Yahoo account, Hotmail account or any account you use as your main email account.

Once those two fields are filled out you can click on the Add Forwarder button at the bottom and you're done.

That's how easy it is to create an email address forwarding mechanism.
