With parents in the restaurant business and 12 siblings (!) who are mostly chefs, food is a family affair for Tung Nguyen. He’s the proud chef and owner of T2 Street Food in New Orleans’ iconic St. Roch Market, serving up mouth-watering Vietnamese classics with an American twist. Tung is passionate about supporting his local community and even visits the same local produce wholesaler as his parents, where he picks out fresh ingredients for his own restaurant three times a week. Chef Tung is showing New Orleans there’s plenty of room for all cuisines and having a damn good time doing it.
