The idea for this time tracker came mainly from 3 sources which I highly recommend to increase your productivity.

1) Eric Schmidt on Google's 70-20-10 Time Model [PODCAST]

The gist is that if you're work life is divided between 3 areas of interest, the instinct is to split your time 33/33/33.

Instead, you should spend:

- 70% on your core business
- 20% on adjacent areas to that business
- 10% on big bets

2) The Effective Executive by Peter Drucker [BOOK]

He recommends that you aim for 1,000 yearly creative hours.

3) The ONE Thing by Gary Keller [BOOK]

He recommends that you schedule one big to-do item each day from 8 AM - 12 PM that helps you reach your long-term goal.

This is the only way to build momentum on important projects instead of feeling scattered all the time.
