How many hours a day should you work on your online business? How many hours a day should you work on your brick and mortar business? Today we answer this question. When it comes to work hours, there is a lot of misinformation around how long people actually work.

Sadly the number of work hours has become a badge of honor entrepreneurs and business owners proudly wear as if it’s an indication of how hard they work. How many hours a day you spend working on your online business, whether it’s drop shipping, Amazon FBA, online course, or coaching has nothing to do with how successful you are.

In this video you’ll learn why I walked away from my 80 hour work weeks and why you should do the same for your productivity. Sure, the reality of being self-employed means you’ll work longer hours than an employee on average; but not in the way you think. That’s a large part of why I made this video because I was in search of the answer to the “how many hours a day should you work?” question myself.

The reason is simple and it comes out of one of the 10 best ideas from the 4 hour work week by Tim Ferris. It’s now how much time you spend, but how the time you have is spent. If you want to answer the question of how many hours a day you should work; it starts with what you actually want to accomplish.
