Perhaps you are one of those people who brags about your 70-hour workweek, or maybe you are on the other end of the spectrum chasing the 4-hour workweek dream.

Who really has it right, anyway? So how many hours a day should you work?

It turns out that the number of hours you work affects not only your productivity, but also your happiness and perception of how much time you have.

Effective time management is important for anyone but it's absolutely crucial for entrepreneurs.

Because entrepreneurs are ultimately responsible for every aspect of their business, allocating the right amount of time to the right tasks is critical to keeping your business running smoothly.

Entrepreneurs are busy people. So you have to know properly how many hours a day should you work for maximum productivity.

Chances are, they got to be successful because of how much they work. However, that kind of busy is different than the random, chaotic busy we can all feel from time to time when we just have too much on our plate or are running around from meeting to meeting. A successful busy is a structured busy -- and that means scheduling your time well so you are making the most of every minute.

Time is a resource like any other. If you aren’t treating it like the investment it should be, start to think about budgeting your time in the same way you budget your cash.

And we currently have some room for improvement.

We all have limited time. So use yours to do one thing well, rather than spending a little bit of time on the hundreds of other demands that might creep unnecessarily onto your to-do list.

The idea of working 8 consecutive hours in the day is in complete contradiction with the way our body works. Our organism is unable to be productive for 8 consecutive hours, notably because of what is called the “circadian rhythm”, that is to say, our daily biological cycles.
