Hey peeps!

My name's Darlene.

Today we're gonna talk about

customizing your About Us section

(upbeat music)

and pretty much you're gonna tell us

who you are,

what you do

and what makes you so special

in a few sentences

so that everybody who goes to your site

learns a little bit about you too.

Let's jump right into editing that.

All right so you're in your edit site

and we're go ahead and click on Pages

and click on Home

and then click on About Us.

First thing we're gonna see when it pops up

is you're gonna be able to change your layout,

if you want a different view

of your images and text

go ahead and select one here.

I like that one.

Click Done.

You can change your accent color as well.

If you want a popup color.

If you wanna make it a little bit bold.

We're gonna make it pretty pretty simple.

Now you can adjust your alignment

of your text to go left or right or center.

You can start customizing the section

by changing the title of it,

it does not have to say About Us.

You can put Our Story,

or your name again, who you are, what you do.

Just keep it a little bit brief.

All right so this layout has three different

section groups that you can edit

and when you're changing any of those sections

on the right and editing any of that text,

you can see it live time on the left side too.

Hey maybe that picture or that section

you don't need,

you can click on it in the section group

and then you're gonna see the option

to delete that group.

You click on that and click Delete

and you're left with two of the three,

one of the three,

or keep all three.

So with everything on this site,

when you're editing it,

you can go ahead and click on Preview

in the top right corner to see what it looks like

on your desktop view,

as well as your mobile view.

And then when you're ready to keep editing more,

go ahead and click on Edit

in the top right corner to hop right back in.

That's been a little bit about customizing

your About Us section.
